On February 28 2025, we released a new musical project, Lyrella. The first album, ‘Cosmic Lark’ has been receiving excellent responses from reviewers, fans, and radio. It’s been good to flex the creative music muscles and I am grateful to see a positive response as launching a new project is not always easy. Press Release
‘Cosmic Lark’ is an instrumental collaboration conceived/directed
by Cheryl Stringall (Sunn Creative) and co-written and produced by Tony Lowe (ESP Project) of eight compositions and musical interludes, largely improvised with rhythmic, atmospheric, and melodic features. A unique and mysterious musical journey, each digital composition also features original artwork by Cheryl. With nods to prog, electronic, alternative rock, and progressive sound-track music, ‘Cosmic Lark’ is woven throughout by Tony’s soulful guitar playing, haunting keyboards with additional percussion by Cheryl. ABOUT ME: I play additional keyboards for the ESP Project,
create and design the CD releases and promo material, and film and co-create video. As the Owner and Managing Director of Sunn Creative, I am involved in the recording, promotion, and performance of independent music with a variety of collaborations. First forays into the world of music collaboration garnered us fourteen Grammy ballots on two different albums and over one-hundred – 4-5 out of 5 star reviews for our Progressive, Symphonic and Indie label releases from 2012 to 2025. Since 2004 we have released 17 albums and 3 EPs, with numerous collaborations. More about my background here.
At Sunn Creative I work with artists, contracts, and media; from social networking, to video production, photography, graphic design and marketing. Running an imprint label requires diverse and intricate knowledge of man
y skills, including royalty compliance, contract law, public relations and artist management. Maintaining an ethos of unique and creative music collaborations we do not accept unsolicited material from artists.
